i get most of my freeware from terry cavanagh and weird fucking games
short rpgmaker occult horror about going to the afterlife to recover your brother from the brink of death. surreal, gender, lovely, but i can't help wishing it was a fuller game (i think it was a jam game, so i don't hold it against it). i want my religious gender rpgs to have Mechanics
time dilaton horror! wow! mega short, very small, and manages to have some decently striking visuals despite a fairly plain realism style
Short, impressive platformer made in Pocket Platformer. Found on cavanagh's site and like him i am an absolute sucker for a good mechanics joke and this is great for that. really especially funny coming off of a holiday where i played mario maker
it's just picross. got it for free because the author was offering it for a day. found it had a few quirks i really didn't like coming off of the 3ds series - you can draw over your x marks, causing you to lose a life? girl get a grip
made a joke during an edo no candy groupwatch about making a platformer fangame. remembered pocket platformer from all right on the knight. loaded it up, put this minute-long out in a couple hours (barring some audio issues) (the level design was the easiest part. the 2 hours was spent decorating and spriting). which confirms that the engine is very easy to use! i can't help but feel a little pride about the fact i've DEFINITELY made the world's only edo no candy fangame, even if it is somewhat of a joke, albeit one that was taken seriously in both creation and design.
if, for some reason, you're reading this and want to play it, you're going to have to track me down and tell me who your favourite mayama is
It's minesweeper but morbius themed. It's really. it's. as an aside, i am apparently complete dogshit at minesweeper (it's genuinely very funny and great to look at)
